A woman has her eyes examined for trachoma in Vietnam.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health has driven impressive progress against both trachoma and lymphatic filariasis (LF). In 2018, Vietnam officially eliminated LF from within its borders and the country is on track to eliminate trachoma by 2023. Since 2010, USAID has provided targeted support to Vietnam’s national trachoma and lymphatic filariasis (LF) programs to consolidate and sustain their achievements towards elimination.
