IMA World Health

Since 1960, IMA World Health has provided solutions to health-related problems in the developing world. Today, IMA World Health focuses on strengthening health care systems; improving access to primary health care services; fostering maternal and child health; promoting WASH and proper nutrition; preventing and treating diseases; and responding to and preventing sexual and gender-based violence. In 2019, IMA and Lutheran World Relief (LWR), longtime partner INGOs, founded Corus International to spearhead new collaborations and innovations across the global development, aid, public health, and private sectors that achieve transformational change and build self-reliance. Corus International now heads a family of faith-based organizations committed to ending poverty and building healthy communities in the world’s most challenging places. Corus draws on the over 75 years of experience of its non-profit and for-profit subsidiary organizations –LWR, IMA, Charlie Goldsmith Associates (CGA), Ground Up Investing, IMA Innovations, and LWR Farmers Market. Together, they take a systems approach to grow rural economies, eliminate extreme poverty, ensure access to quality healthcare, and respond to urgent humanitarian needs in fragile settings.
